Orla O' Brien is a seasoned and versatile Colourist who, has worked on an array of Grading platforms, from Telecine, Baselight, FCP - Color, Nucoda to most recently Davinci Resolve, together with some editing, FCP, Premiere, Avid, also some Graphics work.

Orla studied Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins and then started her career at the award winning VFX Post House, Framestore - CFC.
She then worked closely within the technical department supporting all technical aspects across the board within Engineering and Systems, where she gained a wealth of experience in Grading, scanning 35mm and Super 16mm footage for 'Constant Gardener' and 35mm and 16mm for 'The Last King Of Scotland' on Telecine using Bones software.
She then moved to the prestigious Digital Film Grading department as Grade support.
In 2008 Orla moved to one of Ireland’s leading facilities - EGG - A boutique post production house.
She has worked on a wide breadth of work including, Film, Drama, TV, Documentary, Promo and Commercial.
Since returning to London in 2011 she has undertaken extensive freelance projects, including working for Honda, Orange, EE, Microsoft, Samsung, Barclays, Costa, L'Oreal.
Most recently completed a six month stint on the Channel 4 best day time program - 'A Place in the Sun'.
She currently has a home studio setup and is available for onsite as well as remote Grading and Editing.
